On most of our IFS, chassis and front subframes, we use the new 1967-72 Chevelle disc brake spindle. This is not a junkyard item, it is a new aftermarket steel spindle with stock factory caliper bracket that accepts the 11-inch GM rotor and caliper. We use this application on all of our IFS, chassis, and front subframes, except our 1955-57 Chevy car or 1955-59 GM pickup applications. They use our 1970-81 Camaro spindles with 11-inch GM rotors and calipers. Optional Wilwood brake up-grades are available for all these applications. |
For the best stance, we offer 2-inch drop spindles. These are the popular '67-72 Chevelle spindles we use on most of our IFS, chassis and subframe applications, except '55-57 Chevy cars and '55-59 GM pickup applications. Optional big brake packages are compatible with these drop spindles. |
For our '55-57 Chevy passenger car applications and our ‘55-59 GM/GMC pickup applications, where we use the '70-81 Camaro spindles, we offer 2-inch drop spindles for those applications. We offer optional big brake packages for these two vehicle groups as well. |
