Early Weld-in Rear Steer IFS |
This weld-in, rear-steer IFS kit is designed specifically for those type of early cars that have no room between the grille shell and front axle for the rack and pinion steering. |
| This kit, featuring a fabricated crossmember, uses GM (’67-72 Chevelle) spindles, balljoints, rotors (11"), and calipers, gives you parts availability just about everywhere! The QA1 aluminum coilover-shocks (with powder coated springs and valved to our specs) offer you the easy alignment and ride adjustment you desire! |
| The D.O.M. tubing A-arms (7/8-inch diameter X .156-inch wall upper-arm and 1-inch X .156-inch wall lower-arm) connect to a ’78-85 manual Omni rack via our bolt-on, rear-mounted steering arms for the correct geometry and steering ratio. |

| We offer 2 styles of upper control arms for these kits. The press in ball joint, left, for the open fendered applications and the bolt in ball joints, right, for the full fendered vehicles. |
| Specifically designed for your project, call for a IFS spec sheet and let us start building a suspension for your unique project.
