Up-grade your stock suspension and old drum brakes with an easy-to-bolt-in front suspension unit. The new 1-inch narrower IFS bolts directly to the frame in place of the original suspension, using these same holes. Since the original suspension was also bolted-in, minimum effort is needed for removal!

The new bolt-in crossmember (with upper towers welded-in position) holds tubular upper-and-lower A-arms (7/8-inch X .156-inch wall upper-arms and 1-inch diameter X .156-inch wall lower-arms). The new components feature over-the-counter GM parts! They include '70-81 Camaro spindles, ball joints, 11-inch vented-rotors, and Camaro calipers. A four-turn lock-to-lock manual rack-and-pinion steering unit ('79-93 Mustang) comes bolted to the new crossmember. With this installation, stock-column modifications are necessary. The best course is to replace with an ididit column!
The fully-adjustable suspension utilizes QA1 aluminum coilover-shocks that have a multi-position upper-and-lower attachment points for the easily-adjustable stance you like the best! With fully adjustable upper A-arms, this new IFS unit can be tuned by any alignment shop! Optional features include 1-inch diameter sway bar, power rack-and-pinion, ididit column, and steering-linkage kit. |

UPPER TOWER FRAME SUPPORT welds to chassis
This feature has been incorporated on all of our 1937-54 GM passenger car IFS and our 1953-62 Corvette IFS. The upper tower frame support-tab bolts to the IFS inboard from the upper A-arm, on the inside of the tower, and welds to the top of the frame rail. This is the only weld-in part on our bolt-in/weld-in IFS listed above, and can be done last after all is installed.
