As dealer for Brakes, we offer all their products to our customers at the same competitive industry pricing, and that includes these 14-inch (drilled and ball-milled) rotors and dual-piston calipers on front-steer '77-88 Impala/Caprice spindles. This larger brake package is optional on our '55-59 GM/GMC pickup IFS and chassis and on our '55-7 Chevy IFS and our '55-7 Chevy G-4 direct-replacement chassis.
OPTIONAL BIG BRAKE PACKAGES & VENTED ROTORS
All of our chassis and IFS are optionally available with drilled and ball-milled front rotors. These openings vent the built-up gases during braking and provide longer rotor life.
OPTIONAL WILWOOD SUPERLITE 6-PISTON CALIPERS WITH 13-INCH ROTORS
For superior stopping power, the Wilwood Superlite 6-Piston Big Brake Front Hub Kits with 13-inch diameter rotors are engineered as complete assemblies for non-ABS applications. The SL6 generate high clamping force and balanced pad loading and the 3 different size pistons (on each side) distributes pressure to compensate for the natural variance in temperature, load and wear rate over the length of the pad. The assembly features 13-inch diameter drilled and ball-milled iron rotors. These radial mounted caliper assemblies feature a forged aluminum hub and an aluminum hat with either a 5-on-4 ½ (Ford) or 5-on-4 ¾ Chevy) wheel bolt pattern. The BP-10 pads feature a street performance compound much like a semi-metalic pad.
OPTIONAL WILWOOD DYNALITE 4-PISTON CALIPERS WITH 12.19 ROTORS
We also carry the Dynalite Wilwood 4-piston forged calipers with forged hub and aluminum hat that fit the 12.19-inch diameter rotors with the same Ford and Chevy wheel bolt circle. They come completely assembled with bearings packed and safety-wired ready to install with BP-10 pads. These calipers are available in black, red or polished.
THE JIM MEYER APPLICATIONS
The four optional Wilwood brake assemblies fit all our IFS, chassis or front subframes that would normally come with '67-72 Chevelle spindles and our 11-inch GM disc brakes. Only our 1955-59 GM pickup weld-in IFS kits and our 1955-57 Chevy bolt-in IFS kits for stock chassis come standard with our '70-81 Camaro 11-inch disc brake kits. For those two applications, we also offer the Wilwood Dynalite Big Brake Front Hub Kit using the 4-piston calipers with 12.19-inch diameter rotors. Either assembly comes with seals, dust covers, hats and hubs assembled with bearing packed and safety wired so all you have to do is install the spindle assembly between the GM balljoints.
